Rebecca Ray — Executive Coach | Human Capital Expert | Author

Rebecca Ray is an accomplished executive coach and consultant with experience in both corporate and not-for-profit leadership. With prior executive roles at several Fortune 50 companies, her expertise comes from varied experiences including working directly with business line leaders to assess, select, develop, coach and place private client branch managers and division leaders at two financial services firms; assessing and overseeing the multi-year targeted development of C-Suite leaders and their direct reports at a global technology company in the payments industry; and developing and coaching leaders at all levels at a multinational telecommunications and media conglomerate. A certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach, Rebecca brings her passion about building great leaders to each coaching engagement.

Serving as The Conference Board’s Executive Vice President, Human Capital, Rebecca launched and led the Human Capital Center, driving revenue and growing membership among the CHROs and their teams at more than 240 of the world’s leading organizations and serving as a trusted advisor to many of those CHROs and senior leaders.

Rebecca is the co-author of several books on the business impact of human capital initiatives and over a hundred field publications including the areas of leadership, executive coaching and employee experience. A Certified Director from the UCLA John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management, she serves on the Advisory Boards of two AI-driven tech start-ups.

Rebecca’s award-winning work across the human capital spectrum has been widely recognized; her insights and team successes have been featured in The Financial Times, FORTUNE, Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, The Economist, Directors & Boards, The New York Times, South China Morning Post, HR People + Strategy, MSNBC and CNBC. Rebecca held several NASD (now part of FINRA) licenses including Series 3 (Commodities Futures), 7 (General Securities Representative) and 8 (General Securities Sales Supervisor). Rebecca taught at Oxford University and at New York University where she earned her doctorate.
